“Open up my Heart,” Temple Emanuel’s High Holy Day theme song, is intended to help us enter this season with positive intentions towards reflection and renewal. In these times, when every aspect of our lives seems in flux, and the only certainty is uncertainty, let’s open our hearts together and find our way through. From concept to this video, this project has been such a great experience. I am privileged to work with Cantor Lizzie Weiss (my cantor partner) , Josh Goldberg (producer, keyboard, vocals) and our usual musicians like John Ferarro (drums) and Nick Campbell (bass), and Pietown records’ Keith Armstrong who always makes the music sound so good. Special thanks this year to Alex Bonelli, who did the camera and editing.
